The Preferred Choice was established in May 2000 out of our passion and desire to ensure children are well cared for, well educated, and well nourished by providing the highest level of energized learning in a healthy, safe, and family environment. In operations for over 20 years, we have had the privilege of serving multiple generations with former students, now adult parents, enrolling their children. We aim to provide guidance and support that compound on the experiences your child has within the home. Together, we’ll help your child pave a path to success!

Our center is Quality Rated and licensed and regulated by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.

Our approach to education and development

To maximize the overall growth of every student, we take a comprehensive approach to child development. Our daily lesson plans are inclusive – built and refined by our educational staff and dedicated to each student’s needs. Our center ensures children over-achieve school readiness by providing a curriculum which cultivates their intellectual, physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.

Our Approach to Food And Nutrition

Studies show that well-nourished students create the best learners! We provide nutritious meals and snacks every day which helps your child be better able to concentrate during learning activities, stay alert and active, and maintain better energy levels and sleeping patterns.

From diverse menus to cultural cuisines, we make certain that your child has hearty meals to promote productive days!

Community Service and Partnerships

Our company’s vision expands far beyond the walls of our center. From the initial opening of our doors in 2000, community service has been woven into the identity/culture of The Preferred Choice. Our leadership and employees have a passionate desire to work together to make a difference. Our efforts include:

Mentoring at-risk children and young adults.
Raising funds for disbursing in our communities .
Serving on the Griffin-Spalding Strategic Plan Education Committee.
Serving our communities via numerous volunteering efforts and speaking engagements.
Partnering with our local school systems to identify and provide support needs of families, students, administrators.
